Forget about gel and acrylic nails, because the beauty scene is dominated by powder nails, which, unlike their predecessors, do not harm the nail plate and last up to 3 weeks.
If you are tired of sitting in salons for hours, "frying" your nails under UV lamps, as well as endless filing even for the smallest correction, cracking and peeling of the nail plate, we are sure that you will be happy with the good news that all this is slowly fading into oblivion.
Namely, the dripping method of fixing nails not only represents aesthetic refreshment, but is also a much healthier alternative to gel polish and other similar techniques. It allows us to lengthen and strengthen natural nails, while at the same time they remain healthy.

The liquid that is applied to the nails in the first layer is rich in vitamins and calcium, while the super-pigmented powder is responsible for leaving a beautiful and smooth trail of glamorous colors.
The manufacturing process is very simple and painless, it takes a third less time than the gel method, no UV lamps are used, but the liquid dries in the air and thus retains nutrients.
What does the process look like?
The nails are first disinfected in order to remove the shine from them and obtain a matte effect, and then a dehydrator is used that completely eliminates the fat from the nails.
After slight shaping, the cuticles are eliminated, the cuticle is pushed back and a liquid base is applied, and immediately after it, we dip the nail by nail into a special powder of the desired color. In the third step, instead of colored nails, we dip the nails in a colorless powder and finally apply an activator that further dries and strengthens the nails. After four layers, there is the final shaping, and finally, the shine that will give the nails a glamorous look.
How long do they last?
This super smooth manicure lasts a minimum of three weeks, and unlike very demanding corrections in the case of the gel technique, nail powder melts in acetone, which is why the "correction" is much faster and much less aggressive.
Does this manicure trend harm your nails?
When making powder nails, there will be no long-term consequences and damage, especially if the beauticians in the salon are experts and use quality and proven products.
Like any other cosmetic treatment, dipping can be harmful, because powders can contain various chemicals and substances that are potentially harmful to health. So don't hesitate to ask a bunch of questions in the salon (eg what brand of foundation is used, etc.).
Nail powder at home? Why not!
Find a good tutorial on YouTube, study the whole procedure again, and then get an adequate manicure set, powder in the desired color, base, top coat and start!
Keep in mind that this technique requires both patience and time. When you apply gloss in the last step, don't forget that it needs a few minutes to dry, and only then start applying nourishing oils and care lotions.
If you're hesitant, it might be best to get your nails done in a salon for the first time to familiarize yourself with all the stages of the process, or to stick to tried-and-true nail polishes that last.
